V = (Cs/Ci){[5/(1 – Co/Cs)] – 5}

where Cs, is the concentration of dye in the stomach before saline rinse. The other factors remain as described in the article. This error resulted in a small underestimation of the magnitude of the reported phenomena in a few cases and does not alter the main findings, conclusions, or interpretations of this study.
