Blood-flow cessation and resumption within the PM accompanying constrictive and dilative iris movement. After applying miotics, the iris margin moves upwards on the screen and the PM vessels bend. The widespread cessation of blood flow can be recognized. Subsequently, after applying mydriatics, the iris margin moves downwards on the screen and the PM vessels expand. Finally, iris dilation results in blood-flow resumption.
